This is a film about four disabled women, played by four disabled female actors. Being female and disabled myself, I thought I would connect with the play, but I actually felt rather alienated by it. I’m sure that was more due to my ridiculously high expectations than anything else as the writing and acting were excellent and there was absolutely nothing in the play that was wrong – but while there were some parts of the play which I identified with very strongly, there were other things which were a long way outside my experience.
