Not everyone wants to be a mum and that’s completely okay. They should never be pressured or guilt-tripped into it. They should be allowed to live their own life.
But sometimes it’s not planned.
Well, it's not like there's technically no choice but there are all kinds of things in life where there might technically be more than one option but there’s only one you can actually take.
It doesn’t actually say who wrote this but it’s really well-written and it captures all the conflicting emotions so well. Hetty Hodgson is the director and she really gives actor Janine Leigh the freedom to go all out and not worry about what some people might think. Janine portrays the character well so you sympathise with her even when you don’t agree with what she’s saying. She is in a really difficult situation.
This is a very interesting slant on being a mum and it’s
well worth watching!
